You could have nicely rescued a teacup Chihuahua at a Chihuahua Rescue Group and do something good on top ! But, I guess this would have been too much asking you

I have rescued a 9 years old puppy mill chihuahua with AKC and ACA pedigree. He looks like a miniature bulldog. Don't get me wrong I love him to death. It is not because your dog has a AKC or whatever pedigree that he will be a beautiful pure breed dog.
Are you all people total dummies or what ? Do you think it is so simple. Do you really believe that an AKC pedigree will guarantee you a pure breed and the beauty ???
You don't buy a machine with a garantee here ? You are buying an alive creature without even seeing the parents.
To come back to my rescue Chihuahua his AKC papers shows his DNA test - again , he does look like a bulldog, I am not sure he is a 100 % pure Chihuahua...and who cares .So if you believe that AKC is guaranteeing you a pure breed, you are WRONG.
AKC is a better pedigree : in the kingdom of blind, the one with One eye is King !
- Concerning PETS ARE PEOPLE TOO . You bought a sick puppy. The owner refunded you the vet bills, but IT IS THE LAW. She ( Donna ) did not do it because she is a nice lady , she HAS TO. Otherwise you can take action against her and she knows it.
How can you praise a woman who sold you a sick puppy ? Do you love your puppy ? Or is it all and only about money ? Because you speak more about money than about your dog.
- Now, so far your Chihuahua is 2 pounds at 6 months. Let me ask you : how do you know for sure that your dog is really 6 months old ?? She came from a ' breeder' in Brazil, who can say whatever they want for the puppy age.
Before you being so sure that your puppy is a real teacup, I believe it would be wise for you to wait at least again 8 months more and see at that time how much your Chihuahua will weight.
On a last note : why do you think pet store are getting their puppies from Brazil ?
- It is cheaper there.
-Do you think the hygiene standard is higher there ?
- Do you think they have good vets ? ( in particular for C section for female chihuahua to give birth )
- Would you give birth in Brazil ? Why don't you go and your kids to a Brazilian Hospital ?
- Do you think their dogs need to be vaccinated ?
- Do you think they know what inbreeding is ? ( leading to congenital disease in the future )
-Do you think it is good for a tiny puppy to travel so much and so far ?
-Have you ever thought how many puppies must die in such a long trip ?
-And the parents ? left in Brazil ....Do you know how many must die when they give birth ??? C section is expensive and probably more expensive than the chihuahua breeding stock
Please , everybody knows on this board by now, that puppies sold pet store are coming from puppy mills - But please now with Brazil don't think it is better there....I can only imagine the same as in the Middle West or worst :(
