Lori, You are repulsive to say the least. Learn to read. It was not about money with me, if you would have read it I said as I was holding her I was falling more in love with her. I DO NOT CONDONE puppy mills and DID NOT say I did. I had said, if you had read it, that I was new to the situation and my neighbor had to explain. I had also wrote that I had found out that my baby was allergic to any chicken products. I have not been back to Pets are People too since the day I bought her which they may have been feeding her chicken and that is the result of the cough. No chicken, no cough. So if you can analize, Donna did not truely sell me a sick puppy. Even the reputal vet didn't catch it. I feel even better now about buying her from a pet store, you see I rescued her, didn't I!!!!!!!! I, as one person cannot change what our goverment won't, but I can help to give these babies a loving home and rescue them from long flights, wire cages, no grass etc as has been mentioned,same as someone would do from the Humane Society.
Not that you need to know anymore but I do have another dog of 6 years that I rescued from the Humane Soceity. Talk about sick.....She has had 2 major surgeries for massive amounts of kidney stones and will most likely make more. So you see Lori sick puppies are not all from the same place. DO NOT misconstru my words AGAIN. I DO NOT CONDONE PUPPY MILLS, BREEDERS and the likes. I agree with everyone else that those conditions in which these animals are being born and treated are deplorable at the least. My Puppy, OH and by the way AGAIN you did not read it correctly is a YORKIE not a Chihuahua, she is wonderful, healthy and has brought a tremendous amount of joy to my husband and I and that tells me it was meant to be! I was meant to walk into Pets are People too that day. I was treated nicely there and I got far more than i could ever hope for. Lori, next time you try to strut your stuff, pump up your chest and slam someone make sure you comprehend what you read. You really do make yourself look silly. No need to respond as I am absolutely not interested in anything you have to offer on this subject.
