I was their in the seventies. One of the Oxford boys. We were beaten up by the mostly london boys at the beginning.
when I got their it was just me an a lad called Beven. Back to Back in the courtyard fighting them off. Then Kent Jules a black lad appeared and it was the three of us against about twenty every day.
But more and more Oxford boys turned up and then we ruled that shithole.

I was put in a dorm with a man and woman. Cant remember what his name was Harris does ring a bell. I didt know about any off the sexual abuse that went on there. Because if I did we the Oxford boys would have rioted.

In fact it was me that got it shut down in the end because they fucking lied and said they were going to let me out.

So one night after I saw my mum going back to Oxford bawling her eyes out. I got everybody out of bed and we trashed the entire town. Burgled about twenty twenty houses in a row.
We the older lads got Borstal. But I got out of that shithole.
I heard they closed it down shortly after that.
