Directions are fine, but not the greatest of routes. Most of us in the Milwaukee area do not use Locust Street.

An alternate route is to take I-43 north out of Milwaukee and exit at Capitol Drive. Take Capitol Drive east towards the lake. You will pass through the major intersection with Oakland Avenue and look for Maryland Avenue.

Go right (south) on Maryland Avenue and go about a mile and you will come to the lighted intersection with Kenwood Blvd. Go left (east) on Kenwood and the Student Union will be immediately on your lefthand side.

The construction will not affect your access to I-43 from the south (Chicago) or the west (Madison). It only affects exits and entrances in the downtown area. Good luck!
