Have you ever judged a pageant? Slow down. Most pageants do use score sheets, however, the judges are allowed to look at the cumulative scores once the top ten is announced and are allowed to use some subjective judging. This happens ALL the time.

Many times one judge will score a contestant wayyy high because he/she thinks the other two judges are scoring them too low...

Giving the judges a chance to talk and not have to go off the score sheet gives them a chance to look at each girl as a group, not one on one, and gives the pageant a better chance to win state.
