The scene fades in to a weight room with a small crowd of people working out just to make themselves look buff, that is all except one man. This man is seen over in the corner with a different look on his face, a look of determination. The face of the man is a familiar one, especially to all HWA fans. It is the face of, the Revolutionist(what you thought Mystic had determination). Our promo doesn't focus on him though, it instead focuses on his brother, who just so happens to be in the same weight room over in a different corner preparing for the biggest match in his career, a match that if he finds a way to win, will make him the HWA World champ, which is a prize sought after by even those from the XL. Standing in his way is twenty-five participants, many who would do whatever it takes to get the prize. Some who would even blow a blood vessel just to release some anger from earlier promos. Some who just would hit themselves over the head with a re-bar to scare people out of the match. Some who hits on a fellow wrestlers girl while admiring himself thoroughly. Enough of that though, let us focus back on the man they call Mystic, who has just finished his workout of deadlifting. He reaches into a small bag nearby and pulls out a bottled water and a towel. Mystic wipes the sweat of his face and sits down to rest for a little bit. The scene changes to the front doors as Steve Rider enters the building. He begins walking up to people asking them where Mystic is at, but no one knows who he is(so much for popularity) and keep on doing whatever it is they are doing. Steve makes it over near the corner of Mystic and a few guys point him in the general location. Steve thanks the men and walks over to him.
Steve: Hello Mystic.
Mystic: Oh great, Steve. Don't you have anyone else to interview.
Steve: No not right now. Besides you promised me an interview yesterday and never showed. Kinda makes a person feel like they're being avoided.
Mystic(sarcastically): I wonder why.
Steve: Well nonetheless, can we get this thing going.
Mystic: Your the one wanting the interview. I'm waiting for your question.
Steve: Very well. First off, how do you feel about your chances in tonights Battle Royal?
Mystic: I could careless. I'm just going in fighting. Next question.
Steve: Ok what are your feelings towards John Taylor and now the lionhearted Esteban Romero?
Mystic: My feud with John Taylor has come a long way. Tonight though I'm not worried about him. I'm not going into tonight's match thinking about our feud. Now with Esteban Romero, well I have a feeling we're gonna meet each other in that ring tonight and that it's gonna be a battle of old times. This is sorta like a rematch to me against him. The last time we faced was at a ppv itself. He won though my brother helped him. Well my brother won't be there tonight, and even though there will be others in the ring trying to throw the both of us out, I just know that it will be either him being thrown out by me, or vice versa. We will decide each others fate tonight, and thats all there is to it.
Steve: Ok and what are your feelings toward the comments made by DBR.
Mystic: One that really doesn't care. He agrees with one thing that I said, and that's that hell will be on earth tonight. Truthfully, though everyone has that same feeling. Other than that, I don't care what he thinks. In my eyes, opinions are like assholes, everyone has one. In his opinion he feels that he will easily throw me over the top rope. Truthfully let him believe it, and when it doesn't happen the way he likes, he can deal with it.
Steve: Ok and how about Jake Tanner?
Mystic: What about him? Besides the fact that he thinks he wiped the floor with me or the fact that he nearly popped a blood vessel in a little fit of rage earlier this week or the fact that put not one but two people in the hospital that combined still don't weigh as much as he. First off, I'm not going to be whipped up on by him again. He got one victory on me, that was then. This is now. A different type of match with different rules. All it takes is one slip up and your over the top rope and on the floor.
Steve: That is true. Now what are your feelings towards Dark Warrior?
Mystic: A true fighter. Doesn't care what type of pain he's in, he will still fight even the toughest of opponents. Still I'm not worried about fighting him. After all he has some of the same enemies that I do.
Steve: Ok and now what is your take on the World champ Apocalypse?
Mystic: I don't know. I've never faced the guy before. Besides I'm sure he feels he has more important opponents to face than to even worry about me.
Steve: Well ok, is there anything that you want to add?
Mystic: Only that things are going to start changing around here. Changing for the better. Now there's your interview. Go so I can finish up.
Steve: Sure thing.
Steve gets up and makes his way out the door as Mystic just sits there with the towel draped over his head and his bottle water in his hand. The scene still focuses on him taking a swig every so often and fades out to commercials for In the Begining.
