Many organizations around Florida are have problems with Quota only WMAs, especially when hunting licenses are at a all time low of 150,000 versus 250,000 five to eight years ago and the FWC is asking "What can we do"? The reality check is, add up all the quotas in the state, the Rec. use permits, Pay hunts.... How can we put more hunters in the woods, with those numbers? I don't have the exact number in front of me but it's around 68,000 or so, so Quota WMAs need to be adjusted in some form or another to allow hunters to hunt when they have time, that's another reason Non-transferable permits are non negotiable, we can't have hunters, use it or loose it, in this state!

Sorry, I copy and pasted it, but it left out the D at the end of land! Try again, anyone want to leave notes on what i can add or make changes to let me know, also if you want to help that's good too. I'd like it to be an info site, not a chat site! This site is free, so not much in the way of changes!

Mark
