Subject: The Debbie Lear etc. Blues Band - 17-12-2005

One again thanks to the BBC for a fab night out. Having missed the previous two gigs we were pleased to be able to attend to see if the debut night and the fab Blues infusion could be equalled. We were not disappointed. This time our group were varied in age from early thirties to mid sixties, and everybody enjoyed the night. Debbie Lear's vocals were awsome, Paul's guitar had our three wanabe guitarists mesmerised and the band more than adequetely supported. The set was varied, featuring both soulful and gutsy blues (i am afraid i am not a blues afficienado, but i know what i like and i liked it a lot). Once again the opportunity to boogie arose and it would have been rude not to! As previously the drinks were reasonable and the late stop tap was appreciated, even the band seemed in no hurry to go home.
Looking forward to January's soiree.
