I know that Locke needed to die but that didn't stop me hoping that Ben wouldn't kill him. I'm hoping Ben knew that Locke would be reborn on the island, and that Ben was sincere in what he said when he was trying to stop Locke's suicide.

But it seemed that as soon as he got Elouise (sp) name from him he didn't need him anymore. Also she did not share, nor did Jack, the issue if the shoes from Christian. I just have a really eerie feeling about Ben, and that maybe Whidmore isn't the bad guy I thought he was. I hope not though.
