I wish they hadn't taken the Juliet/Sawyer route. I love their dynamic but there was no need to complete the foursome.

I don't mind the Juliet/Sawyer thing really. As far as the baby boy, I keep trying to figure out the timeline and how that could play in. Also, why did Amy and the baby survive? What hasn't happend on the island yet to allow a birth? So many answers and 30 more questions.

Horace's first name was Goodspeed. Baby boy must be the husband of Juliet's shrink, the one Juliet had an affair with, the one whom Ana-Lucia killed which pleased Ben for he was jealous.
Basically she helped giving birth to her future lover!

Those dimples are just too cute. The look in his eyes has become really soft too. I found also adorable his "And Jin, he's a hell of a nice guy but not a great conversationlist".
Jin just needed 3 years to become a good conversationalist, that's all!
I enjoyed the episode and its flower leitmotiv but I could have lived without the ending which was too phoned.
I hope that the quadrangle of doom isn't back. James and Juliet are perfect together.
I really wonder where Ben is. I mean Ben and his father should already be there, in the Dharma village. Did his leavingt he island screwed up his whole existence on it, even his youth and his killing everyone?
If so Ben, whose mother died giving birth to him, could have been the reason why no woman could survive childbirth.

I was gonna say I loved the episode. Sawyer and Elizabeth are a great matchup. It seemed very genuine to me, I'm a whole-hearted Sawyer/Elizabeth shipper now.
Loved the glimpse of the giant statue, wish we could've seen the front. I have a theory that 'Richard Alpert" goes back all the way to that time. Wonder if he has four toes, lol.
Didn't Ben claim to be born on the island? I need to google Roger Workman and see what his relationship is to Ben.

From the flashbacks we know that Ben wasn't born on the island, but came there with his father while he was a kid.
Of course there's no way to be sure that we can trust what we see in flashbacks.

Man, an awful lot can happen in three years, huh? The best it has brought us--Jin speaking English!
As someone who didn't used to like Juliet at all, she's definitely grown on me. I love how she can rope Sawyer into anything, including love, it seems.
Just a note that I don't believe the losties changed anything--my understanding is that what has happened has always happened--e.g.; Sawyer, et al, have always spent 3 years in the dharma initiative, we just didn't know it until now. Just as Daniel had already warned Charlotte to die when she was little--he was there, he just hadn't been there in his present timeline yet. So I don't think Amy was supposed to die nor do I think her son is an anomaly. Just like Charlie was going to die because that's how things were supposed to happen--he was destined to die. I know, it's confusing.

...wouldn't they know it? Faraday did cry when he saw the news about 815 and didn't know why though. However I do think he is the only one that's been in and out of the time loop. We saw the video of Dr. Marvin Candle speaking to the dangers of the island and that he heard that in the future there was going to be something called the internet. It has been speculated that the person recording it was Daniel. So is Daniel the only one that remembers the past? What if if this does change things? Did Juliet's successful delivery of a child on the island change the future? Oh so many questions, but I love time travel issues. Sort of like when Picard lived an entire lifetime on a planet and returned and knew how to play the flute/recorder/whatever it was....priceless.

Since living with the Dharma Initiative was in the Losties future, they wouldn't have known of it ahead of time. It hadn't happened for them yet. But I wouldn't be surprised if Ben actually did know them all from when he was a tween--that man can keep a secret. Perhaps he has been crushing on Juliet since then?
