Subject: Air Assault Badge

After having bitched to everyone that I have talked to about the 101 st school and the fact that we were the ones that developed the Air Assault concept and did in Vietnam I strongly think (know) that we should be allowed to wear the AAB. I served with Hq 2/7 1st Cavalry Division (AMBL) in 1965/66. Spent november 17th walking from XRAY to ALBANY lost 155 KIA and 124 WIA. Hell yes we deserve to wear the AAB. I like others on here wear the original 11th Air Assault Div tes wings. They look a hellof alot better than the ones that the 101st are issuing. Peace and welcome home my brothers. Jim
