Michael is my brother and Phoebe (laffrey/Beebe) was my great grandmother. she was married to John "Jack" Beebe, who was a boat builder for the original chriscraft corporation. i'm not sure if this is helpful but i found the name isaac laffrey listed in the the saint clair county naturalization records. we are all very curious about phoebe as her death is a bit of a mystery. her son, my grandfather Martin Beebe suggested that her drowning was suspicious and that perhaps not accidental
