 I have reason to believe that my Mother's Great-grandmother, Louisa Root ( B. 1802, Canada) was a Mohawk tribal woman, from the Six Nations Iroquois Tribes. She married a man named William George (B. about 1790) in NY...My direct line is from one of their son's ( Moses George, B. 1829 in NY) Thanks in advance for any help.
