 I am researching the ancestry of John Ennis Turner:

-b 1892 in Texas or Indian Territiory (Oklahoma);
-Cherokee and Mohawk heritage;
-Names of siblings unknown;
-Married abt 1929 to Marguerite (?), an African-American;
-2 children: John Ennis Turner, Jr. (b 1930) & J C Turner (b 1931);
-Resided in Dallas, TX from at least 1930 - early 1960s;
-d 1964 in Dallas, TX or Los Angeles, CA areas;
-The only information known about John Ennis Turner's parents is that one of them was known as "Cholibeau."

Does the name "Cholibeau" ring a bell with anyone?
