 I am interested in your research. There was a Thomas Sowards that supposedly married Esther Cornstalk (daughter of Chief Cornstalk of the Shawnee) in the 1700s in OH. She was described as 6' tall & a Christian Indian, d. early 1800s in PA; Thomas d. 1797 or 1803 in Greene County OH. The LDS site says that they had at least one child. I'm thinking this may be the same Thomas who had also married Letitia Mills. I've also found a Letitia Mills Sowards who m. Daniel Ramsey Oct. 7, 1824. Please contact me at gl_rwarden@seovec.org
