 There aren't any enrollment records for Miami Indians as a separate group. Helen Tregillis's book on them might help you in your research. Miami Indians might be found among the Great Lakes tribes, tribes in Kansas and in Oklahoma. In US Census records, they might be indetified as Indian, Half Breed Indian, Mulatto or Black at different times and in different places. Town histories and county records might list them as Indian....church records as well. I think we could help you more if you would tell us more about the individuals and families you are seeking.
