It appears that Rosalie's mother was Henrietta Godfrey or Harriet Bernardo. Given the tendency for Indian people to use different names and to be called by different names by different people, both Harriet and Henrietta could be the same woman. I checked the US Indian Censuses online at ancestry.com and found individuals named Rosalie, Henrietta and Harriet in the Menominee records, but not the last names of Forcier or Bergevin of Bernardo. Godfrey was a prevalent surname among the Chippewa of Fond du Lac Reservation. I think you have good information to begin with and there are other records to check....as well as the possibility that these Indian Censuses will show her by her Indian name. You should examine the Indian Censuses, yourself. You might see something there that I would miss. Check the topic, Native Races, online at http://www.familysearch.org in the Family History Library Catalog "Place Search" for Wisconsin. You will see records earlier than the Indian censuses there for the Indians of that state. There were rolls as early and 1835, I believe. Also the WHS indexes might tell you more about Vincent Forcier...whether he was a fur trader or not. Fur trade records might be a help if they are pertinent. There is a wealth of records to search on the Wisconsin tribes. Some may not be visible online or in the Salt Lake collection so be sure and check the library catalogs of libraries in the areas where your people lived.
