 Hello, We are working on our family tree and need a little information if anyone out there can help. My Father, Roy Henry Rathbun, was born in Gettysburg SD, Ziebach County on June 17, 1897. His parents were Henry Rathbun and Nora Bell Cook Rathbun. From our understanding, Nora Bell was 1/2 Lakota Sioux from the Cheyanne River Reservation. We are unable to verify that info. If anyone can shed some light it would be appreciated.
