Subject: Searching for Grandfather

 Am looking for information pertaining to my grandfather with the possible name of Don C. Davenport or Don Van Doren. He was full blood Sioux. Was taken to an Indian School at an early age, escaped and made it back home. Eventually made it to Indiana where he married and settled down to a simple life. The limited family records state that his name was "San'tan'tee'ah". The Anglo transcription of his Native name meant "Walks Fast". Have been searching for many years for any information pertaining to him. Thank you in advance for any help.
