 On my mother's side many times Morning star or dull knife was mentioned to her as she grew up.Her dad or my grandpa is Indian and his dads dad Indian.And I guess a good ways back. So I am wondering about all this.My Mom calls morning star her greatgrandpa.And you can definately tell she is half Indian and is half German.I am trying to figure out how to get that far back to find out.Their names are now Lawson.There is Amos Lawson,Ernest,Bob.Rose.And a Liza jane stringer in there somewhere.I am lost as to where to start to get some history on my ancestors.I have tried,but have very very little to go on.Thanks Paula
