 Hi,
I am looking for any information on Jeremiah Bell Howell and Jane (Fisher) Howell and their tie-in to being Cherokee. Jeremiah was born May 15, 1827 and died Aug 4, 1897. Jane Fisher was born Mar 4, 1830 and died May 24, 1905. My dad's family told me he is part Cherokee. Plus, a distant cousin of mine mentioned the Cherokee tie-in also.
There is a blood disorder that two cousins have. It comes from Indian or Melugeon ancestry. I thought I'd see what I could find.
