It looks as though there is a lot of documented Indian blood in your family lines somewhere but it's hard to tell how to answer your question because the presentation is a little messy. On one hand you saw your family has lived for 300 years in the WV area; and on the other hand, you say they went west on the Trail of Tears. Additionally, you do not give your connection with these families. If you would re-write your query and send it to the board using the template shown in the link at the top of this page, you will garner more help from your query. If the Indian connection is far back, you can shorten the distance by saying my 5th great grandfather was (give name) (give dates and places of birth, marriage & death). Then, connect him (or her) with the persons in the Indian information you found online. There are more suggestions on the link to help you make your query easier for others to respond to.
