 I, too am a descendent of Abby Easterd who married Cornelius Vanover. I am descended through their son Daniel Vanover who married Nancy Collins and settled in Pike County, KY. I also have been trying to verify Abby's cherokee heritage and would love to hear from anyone who may have discovered proof. I am willing to share what info I have. Thanks, Liz
