 I have been going thru much research regarding
an Abigail of Cherokee heritage born around, 1750-60
in NC. The one listed in this site says she married into
the Vanover line, but many have it that she married
into the Roark line. Specifically Charles Roark,
who many have in their databases as having married
Abigail (cherokee Indian) around 1775 in Montgomery, VA/NC.
WOuld love to know more about what type of records were kept if at all from this early time that could clear up
alot of questions.
