 Looking for information on a Mary Sophronia Watkins. Watkins is her first married name. Her husband apparently died by falling off of a horse or something like that. Then my great great grandfather (John Pleasant McBride) swooped in and they got married. She was born in 1868 and died in TX in 1960. My dad and grandfather swear she was American Indian. I have connected with others who have given me possible information or leads on her parents and so forth, but I just need help proving her Indian heritage. Any help would be appreciated!
