As the animal lunges forward he drops the cat o nine o tails and sends the dagger to the other hand with a swift movement and with the butt of the knife jabs it on the soft part of the horse inbetween the ears.
Puzzler vs Hunter:
round one:

Puzzler wins but bouth are badly woonded, Puzzler shows of lesser bruises and surface cuts but a visit to the vet would be a recomendation to prevent infection and later scarring, meanwhile the Hunter readies the cage in which he has caught the other brute and hooks it up to a ox drawn wagon and heads of to the pound to sell his catch.
