Saint Peter's got a key to the golden gate upstairs;
It's where God's people live without worries or cares.
There's a river of life that we all can share
and Romans 10:13 tells us how to get there.

Now if you're down and lonely,
and your rough roads just don't seem to end.
If your heart is heavy laden
and you're carrying the guilt of sin;
If trouble is around you, and the sickness just won't end;
Then take it all to Jesus and let the sweet Lord come in.

Saint Peter's got a key to the Golden Gate upstairs;

Don't spend your life in misery and waste it all away.
The treasures of this world soon will decay.
Come give your life to Jesus;
This could be your last day;

"For whosoever shall call
upon the name of the Lord shall be saved"
