I'm not quite sure I understand. I don't recall telling anyone that they cannot run center bolt style heads Saturday night.

During tech, I mentioned to ALL 3 of the top finishers that I would be pulling valve covers soon. I only did this as a courtesy for our racers. It was not meant to imply that anyone was cheating or that I intended to DQ anyone. If I saw anything that was in question, I would have made the call already. Occasionally someone will feel the need to push the envelope a little too far on valve spring pressure, cam lift, rocker arms etc., I was merely giving everyone an opportunity to make sure they were legal. It is not my intent or desire to have to DQ anyone but please don't mistake kindness for weakness. I have a job to do and intend to do it. I will try to do it as fairly as is humanly possible.

In regard to vacuum, I was asked about checking vacuum and my reply was that I try to mix up what I check in an effort to keep everyone from assuming that I am just gonna look at the carb, under the cap and pull the vacuum. Be careful what you wish for, I bought a new gauge and it does not start @ 10" of vacuum like the old one the track has. 17" will mean 17".

I hope this clears things up for you and please contact me if I can be of any help or answer any questions. I hope you will decide to continue to race @ WCS, Enduro had a really good race Saturday night!

Thanks for racing with us, Scooter49
