READ the rules package. It has three types of engines...Box Stock, Stock Appearing and Flatheads. The flatheads run with the Stock Appearing. The box stock and stock appearing rules come right out of AKRA. The flathead rules are gleened from WKA rules for them. Cna't make it any easier than that.

Simple matter of reading the rules to determine what class you run in. If you run a box stock, then you are in the stock class. If you run a stock appearing clone, then you run in the stock appearing class. If you run a flathead, you run with the stock appearing class. The rules are posted. Given that the stock appearing and flatheads are pretty much running together on the track, I see no need in putting up rules that only seem to limit what can and can't be done. As long as the motor APPEARS like a stock clone or a stock flathead, then anything you do internally is ok. I ask that you read the rules and you'll see that it's going to be a fast and fun class! But remember....350lbs after the feature with no burn off. And if you claim to be running in the box stock class, you can be looked at by the track to make sure!
