Survival. Is that not the meaning of life, existence, and 

everything? To live and strive? There are many different 

methods for this goal, but in the end, all fail, do they 

not? We all end up dying, right? But what of those that take 

that extra leap? What of those that go too far? Tamper with 

things not to be tampered with? What of those that contact the 

supernatural? The tale I have to tell you is based on a true 

story, and though there are many myths of this tale in many 

outrageous versions, I am here to tell you the most accurate. 

My tale begins with a small pack of dogs trying to survive a 

savage winter just outside a once great city abandoned by 

humans...
