She pulls herself back on with one hand. She feels the hot tears in her eyes and stuffs her face into Silver's mane to hide them. She knows Elana said she would come back, but can't help remembering her mother's death. So quick, just as this, and her mother had promised her she would be alright. She wasn't though. She ignors Dire, something never done before, and walks Silver slowly out of the area. The large uni halts at the line between safety and the harse world, but is urged on by his little master's heels.
