He felt like it had been days since he had seen his owner, Casey. He paced the paddock in boredom, he almost missed his short-lived wild-life, when he got lost. Fear returned for a short while as he remembered the day. The paint/mustang Colt began to run in a random direction, anyway that had comfort. He was new and so there were no horses around. He let out a shrill whinnie and reared, once again revealing the scar of his past. His ungroomed mane danced in the wind and he showed signs of power. He had been the son of a Wild Mustang Stallion and had the instinct to lead in him. He was not about to let that stop him. He prayed, even someone elses human would come and comfort him. He longed for the touch of a warm hand, or a curry comb. Stones were deeply embedded in his hooves and his mane and tail were knotted from most of his life in the wild. He had been with the cruel human for a short time, but the memories were as clear as if they had occured yesterday...
