Scambling to rise, hooves slicing the parted sand beneath him, he hauls upright, springing immediatly away after her, sheets of coarse sand falling away in veils from his dirty coat. Wild, free buck explodes from muscular haunches, twisting in midair, iron hooves striking at imaginary beasts behind him.... ~!~
