NightBreeze, think of all that I have done for you! When no one wanted you, who took you in and treated you as his own son? I did. Who raised you the same way as his own children?! ME! When you wanted to find out about yourself, who visited all of the other cheetahs and panthers and asked about you??? ME! Then, you wanted to be evil so I told you about the dark side pack and risked my little life to talk to them...just for YOU. And I went out to search for you when you ran off...maybe you are no son of mine. Maybe you have never appreciated me, only taken advantage of me. I didn't come here looking for a mate! Do you here me? Selina wanted me to be her mate. I did none of the things that you accused me of. I have NOT left my pack, and I am NOT pitying myself!
*Corlath looks up at NightBreeze. His body and mind are strong, but his green eyes seem to have faded, and his age is showing. He wishes more then anything that his son could carry on a peice of him when he was gone, but he sees that for NightBreeze that is no longer an option. NightBreeze is a leader. He is no follower of anyone. Even so, Corlath's tail droops down and he is ashamed of what he has just said. He wimpers softly and watches his son go. Even if he becomes evil, Corlath knows that he must still keep an eye on him.*

*He watches as the strong cheetah bounds off, and he realizes that he needs some time to himself. He nuzzles Selina, hangs his head, and trots away to find a place where he can be alone.*
