You should keep tiger barbs in a shoal of six or more but do not put them with any fish with a big or fancy tail cos' the will bite it, they live 2-4 YEARS AND THEY WILL GET ALONG FINE WITH ANY TETRA from my experiance don't keep them with fighting fish!
