Make sure when you change the water to wash the gravel very good and use only water no soap!
goldfish are very pretty but are also considered rats when it comes to fish the chemicals they give off often kill other goldfish.
change filter if it doesnt have a steady stream.
here is a list of chemicals i use (i have had the same goldfish for 3 1/2 years.
1.AQUARI-SOL (PREVENTS ICK) CLOSED FINS, SLUGISHNESS, BODY FUNGUS.
2.TETRA AQUA EASY BALANCE WATER CONDITIONER.
BOTH PRODUCTS CAN BE FOUND AT YOUR LOCAL WALMART.

AND YOU SHOULD FEED YOUR FISH ABOUT 2-5 TIMES A DAY ADN FEED THEM NO MORE THAN THEY CAN EAT IN FIVE MINS.
