Subject: sick betta?????

no one told me my new betta could jump!!! i was changing his water and had him in a cup while waiting for his new water to warm. i went upstairs to shower and when i came down he was out on the counter-top. i dont know for how long.10 mins to 30 min. i put him back in the cup and he revived quickly. that evening he seemed fine. flaring for me and eatting.his color has now changed from pinkish red to yellowish. and he floats with his nose up to the top of the water, tail towards the bottom. and he wont eat. im afraid im losing him. anyone with a similar experience? is there something i can do for him??? thank you
