Subject: What happened to my gold molly?

I'm fairly new to taking care of fish, and my favorite one, a gold molly died tonight. As recently as yesterday it was very playful with the other fish in the tank and showed lots of energy and "personality". Tonight, though usually the first one to the top of the tank to be fed, it was lethargic and wouldn't eat. A couple hours later it was dead on the bottom of the tank. As I think back, it was behaving a little strangely last night and making movements that seemed to be almost like seizures. Any idea what may have been wrong? Other than the quick onset of strange behavior, my little friend had no outward signs of anything wrong.
