I know some things about the baby platies that should help you out. Platy fry are very sensitive to ammonia and chlorine, make sure you have none of that in the water. The best food would be hatched brine shrimp. You can buy the eggs for baby brine shrimp at almost any petstore. Or you can squish tropical fish flakes in a bag so that they almost become powder like. Egg yoke works, but I don't know to much about that. Keep them in a small aquarium or breeder net, but don't overcroud. The filter should be something like a sponge filter. Power filters will suck them up and kill the platy fry. I feed my guppy fry about two to three times a day. In about a week the will grow a few milimeters. In about two weeks you may notice color on the fins. Keep them away from the parents until they are big enough so they will not get eaten. Hope this helps, thats all I know.
