Subject: Baby Whale?

We just bought a fish that the people at the pet store referred to as a baby whale....? They know nothing about it other than it may be related to the elephant nose, or elephant catfish??? Never heard of the second one...Though I've never heard of a baby whale who swims in a fresh water tank either... Anyone who may have any info. regarding this please respond. Thanks for your help....
