Subject: MY MOLLIE HAS BEEN CUT

My boyfriend bought me two mollies about a week ago, the two original mollies were both spotted (dalmations?), that very night one of them gave birth to over 30 little fishies and the next day one of them died. We purchased a new mollie (plain white), two algea eaters and a snail. We put the two algea eaters in the two gallon with the two adult fish (yes the tank was too small), and the snail in a smaller tank with the babies. Upon realizing that snails eat fish and losing over 10 little fishies, I moved the vicious snail to the larger tank for the day, not knowing what to do with all the adult fish (not wanting to put -anything- in with the babies), within a day the snail again cursed me by grabbing one of the algea eaters, alive, and eating it. So, I moved the snail into a tiny little container with the corpse and things seemed fine, until tonight when I was cleaning out the fish tanks and noticed that the mollie who was there from the beginning had what looked to be like a long, vertical cut on its side. Also, I noticed that when it deficated, it looked like diarrhea. I haven't tested for PH, there's oxygen running into the tank and the plants are fake. I thought maybe it had been attacked by the other mollie, but they seemed to be getting along okay, swimming beside each other and whatnot, and I figured it couldn't be the algea eater because it has a circular mouth. Or am I wrong? What's going on with my poor little mollie? Will it be okay? (Only reason I told you about the other things was to let you know I'm way in over my head ;)
