En only eat and come out at night, they sell red lights so you can watch them at night. live blood worms are the best food and they need salt added to the water but remember salt stays in the tank so read the instructions. they are a blast to watch, i have baby whales in with mine and they play all night, once the lights are turned off. caution: it becomes addicting !! have fun and enjoy
P.S. the most important thing to any tank is the frequent water changes...
