Well, it's an interesting project.. -- Gabs, 09:55:42 04/11/10 Sun [1] (83.222.150.76)
..but I'm just flooded. It's a huge fucking deal, we distribute 30 tons of food, clothing, etc to over 2200 people in one day. The workload to organize the damn thing is much bigger than I initially agreed to so I can't keep up with uni or the IHRF. I never got properly instructed because my predecessor is completely unorganized and incapable of telling me things in advance, so I can't prepare myself and constantly have to pester her with questions. It all makes me feel pretty inadequate and it's quite a responsibility, so I'm losing a lot of sleep at the moment. :(
If it helps, my Saturday night was lame as well!

Thats a hell of a workload you've got there! -- andypandy, 11:24:16 04/11/10 Sun [1] (82.30.75.79)
Is there no way you can reduce it a little? how about making an appointment with the powers that be and try to negotiate something a bit more reasonable with them, explain the problem with your predecessor and ask for clearer instructions, they can't expect you to keep up if they don't train you properly, it will be their loss if they lose you plus the problem would still be there if they got someone new which would be a good point to raise with them, good luck anyway, I hope you manage to sort things out, don't burn yourself out sweetie!!
Speaking of predecessors mine is also a pain in the neck, disorganised and chaotic its not just the finances that are in a mess. Frankly it will be a relief when she leaves, I feel very uncomfortable because I think she's aware I've caught her out, we seem to be circling one another all the time, if I make my suspicions known it could affect her retirement in a big way so I feel like I'm walking on eggshells all the time.
Hey ho another lovely day, think I'll hit the pub today and chill out, new owners took over yesterday, two brothers, one of them is rather cute..............

We're just about ready, yeah, -- Kashmanik, 07:21:11 04/20/10 Tue [1] (93.97.170.133)
Luckily we're only moving a few streets away so we don't have to worry about removal vans etc. Richard's parents are going to come down and just shuttle everything back and forth in the car. A lot more relaxing than a typical moving day!
