Subject: So...who has seen Breaking Dawn? Fess up! ;)

I did, and it was SO SLOW yet so hilarious. And the wolves were so corny and Edward was dull as butter knife, of course...but I loved her wedding dress, so pretty.

Also, lamest sex scene ever.

It was ok for what you'd expect, although I'm not sure how they managed to make the storyline last that long, not that much happened really when you think about it.

I'd love to know how they made her look so thin....computers or made her starve herself? She genuinely looked dreadful.

I must confess though that I find Jacob sooooo drool worthy. He is nummy!!!!!

I'm pretty sure it was CGI, don't think she'd really starve herself that badly.

Ehhh, I like Jacob a lot better than Eddie but he looks like a pug TBH!

[> [> [> Ever read the books? -- Rachelbelle, 21:56:21 12/05/11 Mon [1] (86.6.71.27)

My friend is constantly telling me I'd looooooooove them. I also had to convince Lee that they're apparently really badly written - I love fantasy books, but more Robert Jordan, Trudi Canavan, LOtR,Terry Brooks etc etc ... more MATURE and well written things. I do not pretend to be a literary expert but I think it would do my head in, I've heard nothing but bad things from people with a brain. If someone I respect on that level tells me it's good, then maybe..... but until then, I refuse!!!

I was curious and wanted to see if they were as bad as everyone says, and yeah, they're complete and utter shite. Smeyers just writes so badly, it's awful. Not to mention the silly plot and flat characters. Comparing the books to good fantasy like LotR is like...comparing Claire's jewelry to Cartier!

[> voy was being mean to me this weekend...but duh...totes saw it. -- gretch, 20:16:30 12/05/11 Mon [1] (129.137.215.27)

and although you know i love me some twilight...

i laughed my way through the movie. i mean...tears pouring down my face...doubled over...my stomach hurt...laughter.

i even go in with certain low expectations...and this was beyond what i could have imagined.

in particular...the wolves talking. wth? i felt bad for the people around my sis and i...we could control ourselves with the laughing.

yeah...what's her name was insane fug. but she even looked drawn and sort of sick during the wedding etc. i was confused. unless it was just to show the contrast of her amazeballs beauty once she turned. i don't know.

[> [> I might be more into it if I actually felt/understood the chemistry between bella and rpatz -- Rachelbelle, 22:02:16 12/05/11 Mon [1] (86.6.71.27)

But I DON'T!!! I kinda got it in film 1. I actually kinda liked that one. But film 2...you've got Jacob who is hot, tanned, got muscles, is alive, is warm, fights for her etc etc ... then Edward, dead, cold, sparkles?, pale, skinny, ugly....I don't get it. Shame on Bella. I'm gonna write my own book. The vampires will lose out on the girl, the werewolf/human will win. I think my anti-spuffy may be playing a part here.

she really does do a good job in some of her indy films.

but yeah...she has some facial tics and voice things that she really needs to be deprogrammed from...
