Welcome to Moonlit Days, a Marauders era RPG. We begin adventuring with the Marauders on New Years Eve their sixth year. No pairing is set, although, you should know that the mods ultimately ship cannon. Lily/James. But that�s not really cannon until seventh year and we don�t know they were exclusive, so rare-pair away. Lily/Peter, Remus/James, Sirius/McGonagall... go for it. Or you can be boring hit up the obvious Sirius/Remus, Lily/James, Snape/Lucius, Dumbledore/Squid... (Slash is acceptable and encouraged, though it should be in character.)

Oh. Also. Your mods. We�re sisters, but don�t worry, we don�t live together. In fact, well, never mind. After you have applied to join, please wait for me to contact you before beginning because there will be some very important things in the email. We are trying to fill the listed characters first. However, we are interested in adding other cannon characters also. If the CANNON character you wish to be is not listed, let us know. We will consider all requests, though original characters might (will probably) be trashed. Upon receiving all requests for characters, we will send you a very important e-mail with an application attached.

Applications are required and do not equal acceptance.

As fanfiction connoisseurs, we mods, crave an RPG with quality writing. As the rules dictate proper grammar and spelling, as well as in-character thoughts, feelings, and actions, we use that application as measure of quality, and while we aren�t nazi�s (and actually make mistakes ourselves), brilliant (and carefully edited) writing is more likely to be accepted than �w00t�ing, �4evR�ing or �r u 2'ing.

The application will include a paragraph from the point-of-view of another character in the RPG with which your requested character is likely to interact. You will be asked to respond with your own paragraph, in-character, following the rules of the RPG. Other application questions being considered are: �What is your favorite color?� and �Do you like pineapples?�

:Content Rules:

1.) Swearing is allowed, but please use the full words (not a$$ and such). As with everything, keep the swearing in-character, and consider alicnicmic�s weak stomach for internetisms and excessive gore.

2.)Characters may become romantically involved. And, as you are probably aware, romantic involvement often leads to intimacy. Keep intimate posts under NC-17, as minors are allowed to participate and read.

3.) Do not powerplay another active character without that person's permission. Only Sirius knows how he would react to Snape�s dastardly intentions toward his person.

4.) You MUST use correct spelling and grammar! Internet terms are not allowed! We suggest typing your posts in your word processor before posting if you have to! Breakage of this rule will not only result in severe warnings and eventual removal, but also, both mods will barf all over you.

5.) If you, and not your character, wish send messages to other people and not characters, please put them at the end of your post formatted like this: �ooc: this post was late because last night I was watching... your mom. Not sorry.�

:Format Rules:

1.) Please put your character's name in the name slot and use your own subject. Each character should have a subject which they use with every post. (dedkake�s subject (for Remus) will be: ((Moony)).Posts formatted: � Re: *subject* will get you a warning... beware).

2.) Please only post in one place at a time. Make sure you write an exit to your current place before posting in another.

3.) Try to post at least three times a week. Let those you are currently interacting with know if you are going to be away for an extended period of time by email or in an �ooc note.�

We will give out warnings for any misconduct, and after 3 you're expelled, any further posts you make will be removed. So please, follow the rules. You�re housemates will hate you if you lose the housepoints.

We suggest that you exchange AIM screen names and emails with other characters. This will allow you plan and discuss posts out of character, as well as limit annoying �ooc� notes.
