] Date Posted: 09:55:41 07/26/09 Sun Hi all...great day yesterday! Caitlin started us off dancing her set competition..4th place...congrats...then Kathleen was up with some lovely dancing and was awarded 2 placements from a large group of dancers..Next up was Maryanne sporting a gorgeous new solo dress designed and glitzed up by herself (ok, we'll give Mom Susan a little credit for the unbelievable sewing job!). She danced great amongst some talented dancers and also came home with 2 medals...At the same time Kyle was dancing across the floor and wowed us with a 1st, 2nd and 3rd..great job. Nice to see a larger group of boy dancers. Then Anna's turn...great job...the energizer bunny did it again and came home with two medals! Kristen was up next and danced her championship jigs....and took the FIRST! Then along comes Nora and Fiona (they joined us in the afternoon after spending a leasurely morning by the pool)...well the relaxation worked...first, first, first..can I say another first...both of them with golds all around!!! Then we started our Championship team. Representing Clifden today was Kristen, Caitlin, Megan Mac, Molly and Sinead. Kristen started us off with a great show...placing 4th! Caitlin continues her winning streak bringing home 6th...Sinead, Megan and Molly all danced well...just wasn't in the cards for them today! I know everyone didn't win, but you know what...we have a GREAT school, with great parents and great friends..and honestly that's what it's all about! And to top off the day...when I went to my car..I was awarded a "random act of feising" magnet in honor of Mary Mac..yes I cried. She was a great lady, and will be missed.
