(He watched quietly as she ran her hand down his arm and touched her hand to his, consciously trying to take her hand in his, but the most he could accomplish was a trembling in his fingers.) They did a bunch of CAT scans and stuff since we've been here and I have me some brain damage.. (He said, saying the last two words in a mock retarded voice, smiling.. of course it bothered the hell out of him and he wanted to rage about it, but he had already had a chance to be made and was focusing instead on the fact that he and Haylie were alive and that with physical therapy he ahd a chance of getting use back in his hand again.. that was enough for now. His eyes were on as his hand, as though he could force it to move by sheer telepathic will.. though it didn't accomplish anything other than to give him a bit of a headach, so he dropped his head back to the pillow again and kissed her cheek. He chuckled, a lazy and sexy smile spreading over his features as he recalled that night in Thailand.. he might have had some alcohol in him but that night was crystal-clear in his memory and had a potent effect on his body still.) Mmm.. then you remember the best parts and thats enough. (His hand shifted over her stomach a little as he settled in closer, not bothering to move as one of the nurses came in to check on her vitals, his eyes soft and only for her.) I'm not letting you sleep alone ever again, love. (He did, however, catch the romantic smile on the nurse's face as she waited to get Haylie's attention so that she could talk to her about how she was feeling.)
