She was still sitting crosslegged on the bed when he came in, still staring out the window. When she heard the heavy hotel room door open, she didn't move, but when he came into the bedroom she looked up, her eyes on him seriously. She wasn't even sure what to say, how to tell him this, how he would take it...they had discussed what their kids would look like before but it had been kind of light hearted banter, not exactly a 'I want you to have my baby' kind of discussion. This was an actual, real life child - like chase - that was growing inside of her and it was his. She let out a soft breath, her brow furrowed a little though she didn't say anything, she just watched him. She wasn't even sure she wanted to tell him right then, he was either going to get angry - which she didn't really think he was going to do - or he was going to freak and coddle her and demand she go home and go to bed. He wouldn't want her working on the mission and she had to finish out this assignment, there was no maybe about it. Pregnant or not, she needed to do her job and do it the best she could...though it looked like her decision about changing to intelligence work was just made for her...
