(He had held her gaze as he touched her, his arm snaked around her to hold her to him as he pushed her closer and closer to climax. He groaned under his breath as he felt her body tighten and nudged her over the edge, reveling in the feel of her coming undone in his arms. Lowering his head, he pressed his lips to her forehead, then tipped his head more to drop kisses down the side of her face until he met her lips. For a moment he just kissed her, holding her while her body trembled and shuddered against his own, every nerve and cell of his being alive and responsive to her and only her. Suddenly he was smiling, that stupid half-cocked smile that he rarely brought out into the open because it was a true reflection of the absolute joy he was feeling at the moment. He buried his face in her neck and laughed, freeing his hand to wrap his arm fully around her body.) My God, Haylie.. I love you so much.. (He said such an honest tone that it actually sort of shocked him.. but all he could think about besides that was that he was holding the woman who was carrying his child.. right now there was a baby growing inside her. It was amazing to him.. the world just felt so right.)
