(He let out a breath as he looked down at her, having reaized that he was holding his breath in. Tipping his head to the side a little, he let a smile spread over his features as he listened to her, finding himself drawn more and more into the beauty of her eyes. There was something much different about the way she was talking to him, and the fact that she was talking to him kept him distracted enough that he didn't get a chance to decipher it right then.) I'd have to say that when I got stabbed earlier.. that was the worst thing i've e'er experienced.. I've ne'er been injured to the point where I thought I might die before.. I usually heal much too fast to even suffer the pain long. (He shuddered just a bit and then pushed the thoughts away from his mind. Now that he was thinking about it again, he remembered how much that had hurt him and how much he had wanted to reassure himself that Gwen was safe even though he was in intense pain. His eyes searched hers for a moment, and he caught the soft scent of femail pheromones and realized acutely that the difference in her tone and body language had been a very feminine response to his male presense.. and then suddenly it was his turn to have that very male response to her female presense. Feeling awkward all of a sudden, a new experience for him, he cleared his throat and tried to stop the suddenly rapid beating of his heart.)
